Though I regret having minimal interaction with him in the second year, it was a joy to have been his classmate (watching him walk into the class, wondering if he was awake or sleep-walking, and smiling amusedly when he would wake up just in time for the attendance)!
But seriously, having some intense discussions with him revealed the true passion behind that calm, cherubic demeanor - very high on self-esteem, and a great sense of self-belief.
